ADMINISI'RATION • A meeting has been scheduled for Friday, December 10, with Jim Spector and the NSA team to review communications and public affairs strategies for 1994. • Met with the Wirthlin Group and Tom Bell and Ken Rietz, on December 2, to review the outcome of the California Poll and to determine key message points and strategies. • Work continues on refining the NSA operating budgets for 1993 and 1994. • Discussed items available for distribution in travel discount books with S. Kansagor of The Travel Club. Kansagor is preparing a draft article for the newsletter explaining the travel program. • Proposals from prospective accounting firms are in final review by Michel Williams and Robert Imhoff. It was decided to pursue Lang & Associates of Bethesda, Md. Updated Craig Fuller on the progress and solicited suggestions. An engagement letter, received December 3, is currently under review. • The insurance proposal is still under review and the member proposal is expected by December 15. • Sent the NSA newsletter to the members of the Board of Advisors. • Received comments and approval from all members of the Board of Advisors on the NSA letterhead, with the exception of John Hillerman and North Carolina state Rep. Milton "Toby" Fitch Jr. Forwarded the letterhead to Steve Crosby for follow-up with Hillerman.
