Abstract
Article from Science News Letter reporting about reserach by the State Department in Honolulu. The research found that Filipino and Japanese men had the fewest cases of lung cancer of any group in Hawaii and that breast cancer is five times higher among white women than among Japanese. Suggests that the lower rates of lung cancer can be attributed to lower rates of smoking.
