In accordance with plans approved at your July 24 meeting, TI's Responsible Living project'will be launched September 25 at a National Association of State Boards of Education news conference in Washington. Meantime, TI and NASBE staffs will be using preview kits like the attached to brief selected federal and state officials, members of the tobacco family and related organizations, selected education and general media persons and education and child welfare organizations, these latter in an all-out°effort to obtain written endorsements for the program to use beginning September 25. Advertising of the booklet will begin the next day, September 26. We will-be glad to provide additional advance copies of the booklet "Helping Youth Decide," and the ad reprints.
