Dear Mr. Mason:
If it is remotely conceivable that cigarette smoking could be
injurious to the health of a young boy or girl, how do you
justify suggesting or implying in advertisements that smoking
your cigarette product could possibly result in enjoyment or
taste satisfaction?
As the parent of seven, I raise the foregoing question since
your advertisements, which I have observed, certainly strongly
suggest - as a matter of fact, vividly portray, suggest and imply-
smoking s being wholesome, beneficial, flavorsome, satisfying
and desir~able. I am interested in knowing how you support
such claims for your product.
