Tisch has knowledge of Lorillard Tobacco Company's and the tobacco industry's participation in public fraud and disinformation relative to health hazards of tobacco use, in the manipulation of nicotine in tobacco products and in marketing of tobacco products to children. He also served as Director for Council for Tobacco Research from 1971 through 1978. He was on the Executive Committee for CTR from 1971 through 1974 and was on the Executive Committee for Tobacco Institute, Inc. from 1971 through 1977. When he was employed by Lorillard, Inc. he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 1990 to 1992; served as President and Chief Executive Officer in 1993 and 1995.
