Project XGT

(1989 Smoker Behavior Study) Study to compare puffing and breathing patterns and plasma nicotine concentrations.

Objective: To 1) compare puffing and breathing patterns observed in humans who smoked two XGT prototype cigarettes and a Marlboro Light 85 (ML) cigarette 2) compare plasma nicotine concentrations that occurred when they smoked these cigarettes and 3) determine the mainstream smoke yields of total particulate matter, nicotine, CO and CO2 from these cigarettes, under human smoking conditions.
