Hospital Action Plan
(To undermine smoke-free hospital campus PR campaign)Tobacco Insitute plan to trumpet the inadequacies of hospital ventilation systems in protecting workers and patients from cross-infection as a way to get the American Hospital Association (AHA) and the Joint Commisson on Accreditation of Hospitals (JCAH) to withdraw its planned campaign (c. 1991) to promote its new policy of requiring accredited hospitals to maintain smoke-free campuses.
