The case was heard in the Circuit Court, Fourth Judicial Circuit in and for Duval County, Florida (Case No. 96-4456-CA). The judge granted a summary judgment for the defendant. The plaintiffs appealed.
The Florida First District Court of Appeal (Appeal No. 1D01-1169) dismissed the case in 2001.
