Kintner, Earl
PlaintiffEarl Kintner was the chairman of the Federal Trade Commission from 1959 to 1960. (L. White, Merchants 1988). Kintner was a FTC staffer who was appointed by Eisenhower to fill the unexpired term of the former chairman. Kintner believed in as little government intervention in advertising as possible (L.
