Larry C. Holcomb was a toxicologist who wrote a research paper which was published in the Journal Environment International. Paper was basis for RJR's ads in 5/94 asserting that in a month, a nonsmoker living with a smoker would be exposed to passive smoke of approximately one and a half cigarettes. About half of the funding for the study came from the Tobacco Institute (WSJ 5/23/94).
