Global ETS Operations

Coordinated strategies and activities in which tobacco companies from around the world participated to fight public health efforts to control secondhand tobacco smoke. Global ETS operations encompass "sub-operations" (like the Whitecoat Project, Berkshire Project, the formation of INFOTAB, etc. ) Efforts were led by the Philip Morris tobacco company, who, according to documents, instigated and coordinated global ETS operations.
