Sherwin J. Feinhandler, PhD., was President of Social Systems Analysts, Inc., a social/behavioral research and consulting firm in Watertown, MA (USA). Feinhandler was a sociologist/cultural anthropologist with degrees from Northwestern University, Syracuse and Harvard. Served as an assistant professor in Dept. of Psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine, was a lecturer at Harvard. Elucidated the benefits of smoking. Was seminal in helping PM understand that to keep cigarettes attractive to kids, you had to deny kids access to them. (See PM's Archetype Project, c. 1991, based in part on Feinhandler's findings)
