American Cancer Society
The abbreviation for the American Cancer Society is ACS. Cliff Douglas was a spokesman for the ACS in 1994. He spoke on ABC's Day one programs. The ACS filed an amicus curiae brief in the Forster (MN) suit. The ACS was formerly known as the American Society for the Control of Cancer. (E. Whelan 1984).
