The mouthpiece provides additional filter-;;t ing action through adjustable pressure means. This invention provides a cigarette mouthpiece with a clamping end for F° selective adjustment of the pressur or force compressing the cigarette filter, thereby physically controlling the amount of filtration effected. The mouthpiece embodies a conventional mouth-engaging portion, tappered, inner compression ears and threaded nut or sliding means for positioning.
