Attached please find item 5 (Combating Smoking) of the agenda for the 26th
Conference of the Arab Gulf States Health Ministers Council (AGSHMC)
scheduled for Kuwait - December 27 - 29, 1988. For your quick reference,
the agenda items are typed in bold and the full texts of the resolutions
recommendations and documents referred to in the agenda are included.
Also attached is the tobacco-related recomznendation (Recommendation No. 3)
of the 29th meeting of the AGSHMC Bureau, held in Riyadh on November 20-22,
1988.
Please note that the second agenda item refers to changing the wording of
the warning on packs and advertisements. This is a new addition.
