Mentioned Richard to Steve P. as well. Interestingly enough, L'zndheim was in the meeting with me and when I said Richard was very smart and strong with the media, JL agreed he was extremely good with media but did not view him as being really smart. Don't know where that came from but intend to speak to him about it later. Anyway, Marc is aware of our desire for him to meet with Richard. I would add Steve to that if at all possible, and I would E-mail Marc and Steve with a cc to me explaining what Richard's role is, his involvement in OSHA, his past involvement with PM and our intention to have him meet Steve and Marc. To that end you should simply say that with their go ahead you will work with Chris or Ingrid/Jayne to schedule visits for.them on their calendars to meet with Richard. I think meeting each individually is the way we ought to go. Is this still your wish? We have a meeting set for 1:30 on Tuesday (internal) with Marc to discuss the OSHA project. I am planning to do it from here by teleconference (Nicoli and Walls are to participate), but I could just as easily come up there. Also, I have to come to NY on Wednesday afternoon for a meeting to prepare for the two days of comm training for Bill Leech with Peggy and Joe. Let me know your pleasure.
