A number of plans and programs related to ETS and environmental policy have been developed that involve both federaC and state activities whichwe would like to discuss together. Specific topics will include: • OSHA-status and timetable for the proposed rule-making • EPA-revision to EPA's risk assessment guidelines • Revision of ASHRAE Standard 62-1989 - status and impact a new standard could have on ~ smoking in public places Q • Environmental policy issues - water, air, and packaging issues ~ • Sound science and risk assessment issues - the impact better criteria for conducting science ~ can have on regulation ~ • I i l ETS i I nternat ona ssues - ARC and other large ETS studies and itsk classifications For some of you, the presentations may be an update.
