NEW STUDY DEMONSTRATES OSHA EXCESSES ON REGULATIONS
WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Chamber of Commerce today said a Congressional
Research Service (CRS) study on environmental tobacco smoke raises serious questions
about excessive government regulations issued by the Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA).
"This latest study points to another blatant example of excessive regulation from
OSHA bureaucrats who seem more interested in paperwork than public health," said
Bruce Josten, senior vice president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
"This is why it is crucial that government bureaucrats be required to use sound
science when attempting to regulate American jobs," Josten added.
