Dear Mary:
Enclosed are three items that should be added to the March 25
Subcommittee on Health and the Environment hearing record. Specifically, the
following are enclosed:
1) A Washington Legal Foundation Backgrounder concerning the
regulation of tobacco products;
2) A 3/25/94 story from the Washin on Post concerning a lawsuit
filed against ABC: and
3) A written statement from Taylor Quinn addressing the issue of
nicotine in PM USA's processing and manufacturing of cigarettes
I greatly appreciate your assistance in this matter, particularly given the
fact that the hearing record technically closes on April 8. Please let me know if
you have any questions or comments.
Ve truly yours,
David P. Nicoli
