We have prepared a draft of a text to accompany these ililustrat ions, and I will finalize it as soon as I receive from, you the format that we are to follow. We are in the process of' completing a monograph for publication, through The University of Texas Press on environmental tobacco smoke in public places and the work31te. On the basis of preparing,that monograph, it appears to me that your conference might very much benefit by needs an introductory contri'bution that will define the chemical and physical nature of'environmental tobacco smoke. We have, in fact„ completed this task for the monogXaph„ and if rherefore yoia, would like me to make such a presentation at your conference and prepare such an introductory ovezvi~ewchapter, I'would volunteer to do so and be gladito doi it on your behalf. Please let me know. I do hope: that we can set a specific diete soon for the conference and for the completion of these contributions. At this point in time, I already have a number'of commitments for the coming year made in my schedule, which I! summarize for' you in an enclosed attachment. It would seem that the month of February, or the month, of' Aprill or May would seem most feasible foo; my travel schedule. I cannot travel during, the month of March.
