MEMORANDUM
TO: Dr. Colucci, Mr. Davidson, Mr. Dehn, Dr.
Esterle, Mr. Hoel, Dr. Kastenbaum, Dr.
Osdene, Dr. Pages, Mr. Rupp, Dr. Schafer
and Dr. Spears
FROM: WILLIAM KLOEPFER, JR.
At your last meeting Don Hoel distributed a copy of
the Honeywell Technalysis report of its survey of
attitudes of office workers toward indoor air quality.
The title itself was misleading in that lighting and
temperature turned out to be primary subjects of
concern in the survey. There was further distortion
of the significance of the presence of tobacco smoke.
All this, coupled with a fortuitous conversation with
Honeywell's CEO by Hugh Cullman lead to the appraisal
we sent, which I am happy to share with you at Don's
suggestion.
