MATERIAL: The recent reports of the Surgeon General on invoiuntary Smoking and the National Academy of Science on Environmentmental Tobacco Smoke, as well as the forthcoming report by tARD on Passive Smoking will be summarized and organized according to the outline below. Other authoritative materiai will be added as appropriate. LEVEL OF PRESENTATION: At a technical level appropriate to the subject matter, but simplifieQ with graphics and sumnaries so that the material can be grasped by the wide audience described above, as for example, an article in Scientific American.
