RE: LAW PROFES'SOR'MARTHA FINEMAN
Inia recent appearance on NBC's Saturday Todlay, Columbia
Law School Professor Martha Fineman questioned the wisdom of placing
smoking issues into the realm of child custody law.
Attached to this memorandum are copies of (i)i the
transcript of Professor Fineman's comments; and (ii) some computer
lists of'Professor Fimeman's publications. It appears that she has
written fairly extensively about child custody issues, and at least
one of her articles deals specifically withi privacy issues. See
"Intimacy Outside of the Natural Family: The Limits of Privacy,"
23' Conn. L. Rev. 955 ('1991)..
If'a law professor were to write an article about ETS and
child custody, Professor Fineman might be.a candidate.
