(a): It the same person or a maj!ority of the same
persons in Yact,direets and controls the decisiiona of two or more
entities to make contributions or expenditures to support.or
oppose.a candidate or caandidates, those affiliated entities s'hall
be considered one person, one political committee,, or one broad,
based political. committee for purposes o,f the contribution
limitations specif'ied' in,Government'Code Sectiens.85301, 85302,
85303,, and 85305.
(b) 8usiness,entities im, a parent-subsid'iary
xela'tionship, or business entities with the same controll"ing (taore
than 50~percent) owner, shall be considered one person for
purposes of the contribution 1lmitations specified in Government
Code Sections 88301, 85302, 8!5303,, and 85305, unlaa:s the business
entities act independently in.their decisions to.make
~
co~ butions and expenditures to support or cppose camdidates~for
elective office. For purposes of this regulation, a parent-
subsidiary reSationship exists when one business entity owns more
then 50 percent of another business entity.
