Targetina Youth For Friendly Witness If the tobacco industry agrees that kids shouldn't smoke, then why aren't they doing something about it, instead of subtly targeting young people in their ads they say are for adults. With respect, that is like asking whena man has stopped beating his wife. The fact is that (a) the industry doesn't aim or target it's advertising to youth and: (b) we do have a program to discourage young people from smoking. I have detailed this in my testimony.
