Lam, W.K., A Clinical and Epidemiological Study of Carcinoma of Lung in Hong Kong, M.D. thesis submitted to University of Hong Kong, 1985 (only some pages available) . In a case-control study of female adenocarcinoma in Hong Kong, 163 hospitalized cases and 185 hospitalized controls were interviewed. Exposures investigated included ETS, domestic cooking (including use of kerosene stoves), and home incense burning. No RRs were presented; the author claims that no association was found for kerosene stove fumes and home incense burning and~ central or peripheral adenocarcinoma. "Passive smoking," was reportedly not associated with central adenocarcinoma, but was suggested to be associated with peripheral adenocarcinoma, particularly "passive smoking"' due to smoking husbands.
