BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
DWIGHT K. LEE
Professor Lee received~ his Ph.D from the University of California, San
Diego in 1972. Since that time hie has had full time tenured, faculty
appointments at the University of Colorado, Virginia Tech Un,iversity,
George Mason University, and the University of 'G eorgia where he has
been the Ramsey Professor of Economics and Private Enterprise sfnce
1981 Professor i! ee's research has, coveredi a, variety of areas including,
the Economics of the Ehvironrnent and Natural Resources, the
Economics of Political Decision Ma~ ~~Cing, Public Finance, Law and
Economicsy and Labor~ Economics. During his, career Professor Lee has
published over 80 articles in academic journals, over one hundred
ar#icles and commentaries in magazines and newspaper, and has
coauthored 7 books and served as the contributing, editor of an eighth.
He has lectured at universities and conferences tlnrough o~ut the, United
States as well as in Europe, South America, and Asia.
