Morrison Brady as an Associate Scientific - 'Director of the Tobacco Industry Research Committee was announced today :tby Dr. Clarence Cook Little, Scientific Director. Dr. Brady was previously Medical Director of the Muscular Dystrophy Dr. Little and Dr. Robert C. Hockett, Associate Scientific Director since Association of America. In his new capacity, Dr. Brady will share with 1954, the growing responsibility for administration of the TIRC's expanding , program of grants-in-aid for research into tobacco use and human health. A native of Marysville, Washington, Dr. Brady earned his M,D. degree and a Master of Science degree in Pathology at the Northwestern University Medical School. A Bachelor's degree in Zoology was taken at the University Following service as an officer in the Medical Corps, Dr. Brady engaged in the practice and teaching of surgery, in military medicine, hospital administration, public health and medical research in Tacoma, Wash., a.nd Fresno County, Calif. From 1956 to 1959 he was Assistant Director and Director of Medical Services for the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis. 1Qa3543590

He is an active member of such medical organizations as the ;American Medical Association, the Association of Military Surgeons, Y the American College of Hospital Administrators and the American Public He currently is commanding officer of an active Army Reserve .With his family, Dr. Brady lives at 160 Cabrini ~ ~~.j _ i~
