Abstract
The Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society brings together all the different experiences and skills necessary to fight cancer. What a great team it is-the scientist who works to unlock the secrets of the disease, the business leader who raises the money and gives us efficient organization and administration, the civic leader ~vho spreads our lifesaving message, and the doctor who provides skillful and sympathetic treatment and hope at the patient's bedside.
