of Its 1984 Corporate Campaign.. Meridian House is a non-profit institution
which conducts international educational and cultural programs for foreign
visitors, diplomats and Americans.
We need your help wi3h this effort and I invite you to join m? as a member of
the Corporate Campalgn Committee. Each committee member w11J be asked to
approach slx or seven targets chosen from a list of companles which are already
familiar with Meridian House. Your initial contact with these corporations will
be follow~d u! by th7 Meridian Ho~se D~velopment Staff.
The campaign is des~gped for maximum ~mpact. Y~u are asked to attend only one
of two l~ncheon meetings at Merld~an House, e~ther Thursday, May 10 at 11:30
a.m., or luesday? June 5 at 11:30 a.m..Please cal~ Patt~ Johnson at 667-6800 to~
let us know which of these two meetings you w~]l be able to attend. Our
volunteer solicitors are a vital part of the success of the campaign.

~ervices to iuternationaI visilors and the presenlation of lectures, semi-
oars and exhibitions of an international character, Meridian House
serves as a doorway to the United States tbr thousands of international
visitors, as well as a window on the world for Americans interested in
world affairs. Its affiliates are the Visitor Program Service (VPS), the
Washington International Center (WIC), the National Counc[I for In-
ternational Visitors tNCIV), the Internalional Visitors Information
Service (IVIS). and The Hospitality and l~aformation Service for Dip-
lomats (THIS). A tax-exempt corporation, Meridian House" Inter-
natioual is financed by government contracts and grants, foundation
support, and corpomle and individual gifts. It owns a~d operates
Meridian House, a Washington landmark ol" exceptional architectural
