I also have had an opportunity to speak with her on this matter,
but have gotten no commitment from her.

public conveyances. The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science
and Transportation has jurisdiction over this matter. As a
member of this committee, I will carefully follow the progress of
S. 51, The Prohibition of Smoking in Public Conveyances Act of
1987, and I will keep your opposition to this measure in mind
during related deliberations.
