Readings of moisture and-nieotine-supr on the total flow are taken every 1/2 second
prior to packing and calculated on a time basis to represent the average for each bale.
Core samples are taken hourly from each processing li.ue ana submitted for standard
laboratory analysis for instrument calibration purposes.

1. Strin Size Analysia
a) To be sampled from the total flow of finished strip after leaving redryer.
b) Samples are automatically dropped by reversing conveyors and routed to
automated rotexes which separate and weigh samples into size fractions. The
process of sampling and sieving ia continuous.
c) Sample size: 10.6 lbs. to 26 Zbs. depending on flow rates
