LITTLE AL BLUES
I am very upset to see that after so many
years of great driving, Al Unser Jr. will be
released by Team Penske. Team Penske has i
always been my favorite, primarily because of
Roger Penske and Little Al. Penske, I believe
'
that you need to look to your entire team for
your 100th victory and not just oust someone
who has provided you with many steps
towards that milestone.
Gil de Ferran and Greg Moore are both
great drivers and I enjoy watching both of
them compete, but no one else belongs in that
car but Little Al. If you are going to replace
Unser, you should look to upand-coming
American drivers. There are many American
drlvets that would love a chance in a Champ .
Car. Remember the Toyota Atlantic series -;
there are actually some up-and-coming drivers
;
in there. If Little Al had a competitive car that -
would fmish a race, he would likely be a front-
runner.
