STATUS Two la~ I !do;;ns of 1' 000 kg, each were processed in the F`I'l< prinary or; ..'u]iy 5, 11988, and expanded the next day in Onnens. One lay- c.own %,;as =or the purpose ot tryinc;i to use Swiss tobacco inour tobacco blends, whereas the other was in the context of Project i'ris'I.Y using total blend expansion technaloSy. No special croccssing,problems were encounterec', during the run- ninS cf the trials. Reports coveriny the trials were issued by tl:e NT Process Enyineer in Onnens and thc undersigned (1, 2) .
