Durinc week 25, 1988, tobacco "pad" samples were rece ed from ATO1, Ltnd'ed strips for humectant analysis, to deterT i_r. _ c~levated humectant contents are a factor in BBS padding. During week 51, 1987, a meeting was also held in Neuchatel between R&D and EEPvIA Area Management to review primary improve- ment proposals sor the E1 Kha:oub, Algeria, factory. During week 4, 1988, E ;u~int meeting was conducted in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia, with: Fabrica Duvana Sara jevo (FDS) , EEMA Nfanag,eiaent and Process Development R&D, for the purpose of formulating a primary improvement plan for the FD'S factory. This protocol was~ is sued in February and approved by PM EEI.1Aand FDS(1).
