Re: UCLA Three-Year Extension
Gentlemen:
I enclose a copy of a proposed press release announcing
the three-year extension at UCLA. We have discussed the release
with Bill Kloepfer and it incorporates his comments. As soon
as you have had an opportunity to review the release, I would
appreciate any comments or suggestions you may have.
The proposed release has been cleared by phone with
Dr. Cline and is being sent to him for his review. A release
date has not been set. Hopefully, it should occur by early
to mid-Jtine, after the extension agreement has been executed
by all parties and the support checks received.
Dr. Cline will advise me of the UCLA public relations
person with whom we should deal on this matter. As soon as
I have this information, I will contact Bill Kloepfer and request ~
that he coordinate the handling of the release. Accordingly,
would you please advise Bill or me if your company would like
to receive copies of the advance release?
