I. Assign one person (or a team) within RJRT to handle employee
involvement in external issues such as ETS and the FET
battle.

industry. When a tobacco issue is raised by an anti-smoker
we should have a quick response network of employees who are
able to respond in an informed way.

Develop incentive and recognition programs for employees who
successfully volunteer significant time to RJR issues, e.g.,
dinner for two for most letters to the editor or responses
from Congress in one year.
