Abstract
Reports on highlights of international symposium on prevention and detection of cancer. Posits that "pertinent scientific papers were nearly all one-sidedly anti-smoking." Notes, however, that Ernst Wynder, "a world leader of the anti-smoking Establishment, took pains to make at least two detailed public declarations that he disagrees with the studies claiming that 'passive smoking' can be alleged to induce lung cancer in non-smokers.
