Reference numbers refer to the flow chart supplied by Donnelley. I. DESCRIPTION AND PROCESSING OF MAIL A) Mail addressed to Lorillard (identified by an assigned Post Office Box number) is received from the following sources: 1. Small Retailers - via direct mail 2. Chain Stores - via direct mail 3. Clearing houses - indirectly, via retailer to Clearing-house O B) Mail is opened and stored by date of receipt. C) Redemption requests (i.e., invoices and coupons) are "batched" and given to CRT Operators. Note: Invoices may be any of the following types: 1. Slip of paper 2. Store invoice 3.
