NLM TECHNICAL BULLETIN - MAY 85 TOXLINE UNIT RECORD The unit record in TOXLINE consists of twenty-six (26) data elements. Each is identifiable to ELHILL by a two or three character mnemonic. While the record length is fixed, the data element lengths are variable. Some records have multiple occurrences of certain data elements and some records do not contain every data element.
