Articles entered into the database are taken from several sources dating back to 1973, as well as important articles from the early literature, some dating back to the nineteenth century. Coverage includes a) over 150 current journals in health and safety and related fields, b) all NIOSH publications, c) pre-1974 abstracts from ILO/CIS, and d) additional pertinent references generated in then creation of NIOSH documents. All records contain abstracts and are also indexed with the NIOSH controlled vocabulary. SUBJECT COVERAGE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH (NIOSH) covers virtually all aspects of the occupational safety and health field.
