On motion duly made and seconded, the reading of'the minutes of the previous meeting,was dispensed with. There was presented to the meeting a letter from i,br. Aiilliiam R. Perkins to the President of'the Company,, reading as follows: Mr. H. A. Kent, President, P. Lorillard Company, 119' West 40th Street,, New York City. April 1, 1942. Dear Sir: Effective today, myself,, Mr. Freeman J'. Daniels, and my son, Thomas L. Perkins, who have been associated with me for some while in my law practice, are form~~ing,a firm under the name of PERKINS,, DANIELS & PERKINS, and I trust it will be entirely agreeable to continue in that form my representation of the Lorillard Company, which has existed so pleasantly for so many years.
