121 May 21, 1943' A regular meeting of'the Board of'Directors of P..Lorillard Company, was held today at the office ofthe Company, 119 West 40th Streeti New York City. There were: present Messrs.: G. G. ~. ES. D. S, Hummel Whitefield bowline W. J. J. H. J. S. T. F'. Halley Freeman. Keel Temple Todd Wool Mr. Hummel, Chairman, presided and the Secretary acted as Secretary of the meeting. On.motionn duly made and seconded, the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with. On.motion of Mr. Freeman, seconded by Mr. Bowling, it was unanimously RES0L7ID: That a dividend of $1.75 per share on the Preferred Stock of this Company be and it hereby is declared payable July 1, 1943'to stoekholders of record at the close of business June 15, 1943. On motion of Mr. Bowling, seconded by Mr. Whitefield, itwas unanimously RESOLVED: Tkiat an.interim dividend of 25ยข'per share on the out- standing:Common Stock of this Company be and'it hereby is declared payable July 1, 1943 to,stockholders of record at the close of business June15., 1'943.
