There were present Messrs.: G'.Hi. Hummel H.A., Kent E.S. Bowling W.J. Halley J.S'. Freeman J.J. Driscoll F. Hopewell Buf'ord' Scott J.A. Glascock T.L. Perkins, Asst. Secretary The Chairman of the Board presided'and'the Assistant Secretary acted as Secretary of' the meeting., On motion duly made and seconded, the reading of the minutes of the psevious meeting was dispensed with. On~ motion of M'r.~ Freeman, seconded by~ Mr~.~ Bowling,,, it~~ wa~s unaniimously RESOLVED: That the Transfer Books of' the Reg2stered' Five P¢r Cent Bond!s of this Company shall be closed at three o'clock P.M. January 15, 1943, for the payment of interest thereon, due February 1, 1943, and shall be re- opened at ten o"clock A.M. February 2, 1943. On motion of Mr. Hopewell, seconded byrMr. Bowling, the following adFertis3!ng,expenditures were in all respects' approved, ratified, and con- firmed:.
