On motion duly made and seconded!., the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with. On motion of Mr. Bowling„ seconded by lllr. Fteeman, it was unandmous]y RESOLVED: That a dividend of $1.75 per share on the PreferrediStock of this Company be and i't hereby is declared payable October 1, 19l.2, to stock- holders of record at the close of business September 15,,19J;2. On motion of Mr. Bowling, seconded by Mr. Hopewell, it was unanimous RESOLVED: That an interim dividend of 25'0 per share on the outstand- ing Common Stock of this Company be and it hereby is declared payable October 1, 1942, to'stockholders of record at the close of business September 15,,1942. On motion of Mr. Halley, seconded by Mr. Driecoll, it was unanimously RESOLVED: That the Transfer Books of the Registered Seven Per Cent Bonds of this Company shal:]l be closed at three o"clock P.M. September 15, 1942 for the payment of' interest thereon, due October 1i, 1942, and shall be, reopened at 10' 0'clock A.M. October 2, 1942'. On motion of`Bdr.
