A regular meeting of the Board of Directors of P'. Lorillard Company
was held today at the office of the Company, 119 West 40th.Street, New York
City.

RESOLVED: That the Transfer Books of the Registered Five Per
Cent Bonds of'this Company shall be closedi at three.o'clock P.M. January 15,
1942, for the payment of' interest thereon;, dt:e February 2, 1942, and shall be
reopened at ten.o°clock A.M.. February 3, 1942'

purchasing shares of' the Capital Stock of Federal Tin Company from the per-
