HopeweLl Todd Wool On motion duly made and second'ed,, the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was. dispensed with. There was produced and read. to the meeting stipulation and consent executed by this Company and certain other defendants in the Anti-Trust euit brought by the United States of America in the District Court of the United States for the Eastern District of Kentucky, against this Company and other defendants under the style of TJhited States of America v..American Tobacco Com- paqy, et al, and after discussion, on motion of Mr. Halley, seconded by Mr. Hopewell, it was unanimously RESOLVED: That the action of the Officers of this Company in executing along with certain other defendants, the stipulation and consent in the Anti-Trust.ease entitled United States of America v. American Tobacco Company, et al, in the District Court of the United States for the. Fastern District of Kentucky, be and the same is hereby approoed, ratified, and confirmed in all respects and the copy of said stipulation and consent, which has been produced and read to this meeting, is hereby ordered annexed to the minutes of this meet- ing as a part thereof.
