J. Reynolds. I have, in fact, already received some checks and expect to have the rest inithe next few days. Substantial agreement has also been expressed by these companies to the phaseout budget of $826,041. It is my understanding that there will also be a check forthcoming from U. S. Tobacco. I would very much appreciate hearing from Joe Greer on how to obtain Liggett's assent to the Harvard phaseout. Lee Stanford sent a proposed letter for Dean Meadow to you on June 15. The only comments received so far approve the letter and I intend to mail it on June 26 unless I hear to the
