Auburn Street Cambridge, MA 02138 Dear Dr. Huber: This is to confirm previous conversations we have had regarding the intent of the Division of Lung Diseases to sponsor a Workshop on Lung Morphometry. The objectives of the workshop are to review current techniques and principles of morphometry appliiedito the lung in a laboratory setting where participants can receive "hands-on" experience from a faculty of experts. It is anticipated that a manuali of lung morphometry willi be prepared following the workshop. We greatly appreciate the willlingness of you and Dr. Reid to ordaniize this workshop at Harvard Medical School sometime is March, 1980 and I look foraard, to working with you in formulating the agenda. As we discusse&we will be aiming at finalizing this agenda and the list of "faculty"'by the end of November.
