GOOS This will confirm your request for an extension of time of 45 days fr=October 31, 1980, to enable Harvard to complete final project transactions and prepare a final financial report. Please advise if additional time will be needed. I have reviewed the data submitted to Harvard by Dr. Huber which support expenditures by him in the amount of $2,519.39. The data appear satisfactory, and I would request that Harvard reimburse Dr. Huber for these expenses. As I have advised you'orally, Harvard is authorized to make the payment for computer and typewriter usage required by Dr. Huber and his staff during the six-week period'immediately follow- ing June 30, 1980. Regarding'delivery to Dr. Huber of project equipment purchased by the project grantors, I believe you already have a copy of Bill Shinn's letter of August 12, 1980, to Dr. Huber. It is the position of the grantors that title and all rights of ownership in this equipment remain in the grantors. The grantors have authorized Dr. Huber to transfer their equipment to the C W .1 C.1 O ~ • . O - tD l LAW OFFICES SHOOK, HARDY & BACON CMARLES L'. BACON NARVEY L. KAPLAN TWENTIETHI FLOOR'. SHOOK, HARDY & BACON Mrs. Joyce Brinton Page 2 November 26, 1980 University of Kentucky. Therefore, Harvard is requested to take whatever steps are necessary to assure delivery of the equipment as requested by Dr. Huber and his staff. A copy of Mr. Shinn's August 12 letter is enclosed. Dr. Huber advises that he has forwarded'a list of items relating to pre-March 31, 1979, expenditures for which he has requested supporting data. I have offered to assist him as neces- sary in reviewing this information., After this has been accom- plished and the final Harvard report submitted, I'm hopeful that we can proceed to resolve pending matters. I believe the foregoing responds to the matters you have raised'. If you have any questions, please contact me. LES:res Encl. cc: Gary L. Huber, M.D. bc: Thomas F. Ahrensfeld Joseph H.
